FAQ’s
Here are some commonly asked questions!
Thank you for supporting handmade work! Each piece in my shop is created by hand — shaped, carved, and glazed individually. I strive to make sure you love what you receive, and I take great care in how I pack and ship it. Here’s everything you need to know before ordering:
Do you accept returns?
Because each piece is one-of-a-kind, I do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse. Please read product descriptions carefully and look closely at the photos before purchasing. If you’d like additional photos or details, just reach out — I’m happy to provide them.
What if my item arrives broken?
If your piece is damaged in transit, I’ll make it right. Email me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and the packaging, and I will replace or refund your item.
What if my piece breaks after I receive it?
Ceramics are fragile and should be handled with care. My functional wares are dishwasher safe, but I recommend hand washing to extend their life. My sculptures are especially delicate and will break if dropped or handled roughly.
If your piece breaks after you’ve received it, I can create a replacement for you at the same price you originally paid, but I do not replace broken pieces at no cost.
Can I order a custom piece?
I occasionally accept custom orders depending on my production schedule. Please contact me with your idea, timeline, and budget, and I’ll let you know if I can accommodate it.
Why are your shipping rates higher than average?
Each piece is carefully packaged using professional materials and double-boxed when needed. I’ve invested a lot of time learning best practices for packing and shipping ceramics safely. My rates reflect not just postage, but also the cost of packaging supplies and the time it takes to ensure your order arrives intact.
Will my “pair” or “set” match exactly?
No two handmade pieces are identical — that’s part of the beauty. If you order a pair or a set, you can expect subtle differences in shape, glaze flow, foot carvings, and size. I strive for cohesion and harmony, not factory-perfect matching.
