The Strata Bowl takes its name from the layered bands of earth and stone revealed over time. Its straight-wall silhouette — a signature form in my work — gives it a clean, architectural presence, while the glaze flows in vertical strata of indigo, ochre, green, and white, like light moving across canyon walls.
Designed for daily use, this large bowl is perfectly sized for a hearty salad, a steaming bowl of ramen, or serving at the table. The speckled clay base adds warmth and grounding, making it as functional as it is artful.
As with all handmade ceramics, subtle variations in color, shape, and surface texture ensure that every Strata Bowl is entirely one-of-a-kind.
